International Paris Air Show – Bourget 2025 Edition
The strategic meeting point for aerospace industry stakeholders

From June 16 to 22, 2025, the MICHELIN Inflatable Solutions team took part in the International Paris Air Show at Le Bourget. This unmissable event brought together the key players in the sector to address the major technological, industrial, and environmental challenges facing the aerospace industry.
This edition provided an opportunity to highlight our expertise in developing technical textile solutions for critical applications in both civil and military aviation.
Designed to meet high operational demands, our inflatable structures support aircraft certification processes and enable the rapid deployment of mobile workspaces tailored to maintenance, preparation, or on-site operations.
Modularity and mobility serving aircraft certification
At our MICHELIN booth, visitors discovered the scale model of the Faraday cage developed for the electromagnetic certification of Dassault Aviation’s Falcon 6X.
This 900 m² structure, made from flexible and lightweight materials with insulating properties, creates a protected environment against electromagnetic interference—essential for conducting compatibility tests. Positioned at the entrance of the structure, the electromagnetic wave stirrer ensures uniform field distribution, enabling reliable, repeatable, and representative measurements across the entire aircraft.
This setup demonstrates our ability to design solutions that are both technically efficient, modular, and easily transportable. Once folded, the structure fits into a few bags and can be transported using a single utility vehicle.

Drone Soccer under the wing of the iconic A380
During the final three days open to the general public, our drone cage was set up beneath the wing of the legendary A380, offering a unique and engaging play area.
Organized by our partners Drone Soccer France and TOP DRONE 60, visitors had the opportunity to discover Drone Soccer—an emerging discipline that combines drone piloting, teamwork, and strategic thinking.
