Michelin inflatable solutions sets up in saint-doulchard and starts training its new employees

Michelin Inflatable Solutions has set up on the MICHELIN Group's industrial site in Saint-Doulchard and has a 6,000m² site to develop its activities.

On 17 November 2023, the Défi (Développement de l'emploi par les formations inclusives) agreement was signed in Saint-Doulchard to launch the training of 12 employees in industrial sewing. This 4-month training course led to the recruitment of these 12 new employees.

The training and recruitment of these new employees was made possible thanks to the support of the Centre-Val de Loire Region and its partners (Pôle Emploi, GRETA Berry, Mission Locale, Cap Emploi and the Conseil départemental du Cher).

Michelin Inflatable Solutions will now grow in Saint-Doulchard alongside Michelin's teams, and it is here that inflatable solutions for demanding applications will be manufactured, particularly large-scale and highly complex ones.

This union between the Group and its subsidiary Michelin Inflatable Solutions is based on the mastery of high-tech materials and ingenious assemblies.

"The industrial challenge is above all a human challenge", as Anne-Frédérique SALIT, CEO of Michelin Inflatable Solutions, put it in her speech at the signing of the Défi agreement.

Michelin Inflatable Solutions is aiming to recruit around a hundred jobs at its Saint-Doulchard site between now and 2025.
